What stays on your iPhone
The main things you add to Asseto, like balances, holdings, liabilities, recurring items,
family profiles, and notes, are meant to live on your device so the app can power the dashboard,
holdings screens, reminders, and history views.
Backups and sync
If you export a backup, Asseto creates a local JSON backup file that you control.
If you restore from a backup, the file you choose is used to rebuild your data in the app.
The app also includes an iCloud sync setting if you choose to use it.
Biometrics and notifications
If you enable Face ID or Touch ID, the app uses the system biometric features on your device
to help protect access. If you enable notifications, Asseto can schedule reminders for things
like fixed deposit maturity dates and loan payoff timing.
Diagnostics and analytics
Asseto may use diagnostics and analytics to improve reliability and understand how the app is used.
Depending on configuration, this can include product analytics, logs, session replay, and
network-related diagnostic details. These tools are separate from the app's core on-device records.
